Actors in the wrong side of limelight

What's with the actors I wonder. First it was Trisha in the news over a video clip that people alleged was shot while she was taking a shower in her hotel room in Hyderabad. Next, is Karina and Shahid. Mid-day published pictures of a couple smooching and claimed it was Karina and Shahid. And of course Karina denied it was her. She apparently told the press, "I can never do such a thing in a restaurant." Ha ha. What a way to refute a claim. And Shahid said, "I am shocked and upset over such photographs and also because the newspaper did not approach us for any clarification." Sure. I mean the next time, we'll remind them to call you to check if it was you, really at it.
I am not going to debate on whether it was them or not. Or about the ethics of our media (I didn't know they that they had any). My point is actors should stick to acting only in movies, and not tap into their repertoire while fighting rumors or exposes. Else, you'll make complete fools of yourselves. 'I can never do such a thing in a restaurant' does not excatly qualify as intelligent. Does it, now? Never mind, that was some excitement for us, in our otherwise routine lives.
