Pressure Guage Indicators

I was filling air in my bike's tyres when I discovered that the rear tyre's level was 10 instead of 36. The problem is that it is difficult for one to assess if the pressure in the tyres is at the optimal level. If your levels are down, you lose out on mileage, inflict damage to your tyres and tubes, and run the risk of an accident. So, don't you think two-wheelers should have pressure indicators ala fuel indicators? I don't see why not! What do you think? And, what about cars, do they have pressure indicators?

Okay, you feel really strongly about air pressure. And indications thereof. Is this some subtle one post for the front tire and one for the back that we're missing.
Some chap has helpfully directed you to the Tire minder thing and it looks really cool.Except that it costs like 19.95$ and two for your tires on a bike would cost you a neat 2k in our greasy currency. And twice that for a car.And thats the price of a Bridgestone tubeless radial I got for my wheels like just last week.
Or the low tech pressure gauge you see puncher repairy guys using, administered orally to your tires once a week ought to do the trick.
The only vee-hickle that I know of that lets you inflate or deflate the tires depending on terrain is the humvee.I dont think that features available on the non military version, though. And its significantly more expensive than the Tire minder.Shoot!
