And they are saying that Indonesia alone could well have 100,000 dead. A catastrophe of this size and scale takes longer to sink-in. It all seems so surreal. I keep wondering 'Is this same beach where I'd played Volleyball for years? A witness to countless romances? Where kids flew kites in the breezy evenings?' You know it is like your best friend betraying you. It leaves you speechless, and by the time you recover from the shock, your world has changed; like a mud hut that took a Mortar Shell. I sign-off.
