Shamdat: Found him

Shamdat: Cinematographer. Trained under the wings of Ravi K Chandran (of Dil Chahta Hai, Calcuta Mail, Koi Mil Gaya, and Yuva fame), this dimunitive, unassuming cinematographer may appear ordinary. But beneath that veil of simplicity is a raging talent that's about to explode on Indian screens. No, I don't say it just because he is my friend. I say it because I know him. He can connect to people. From the CEO of a multinational to a slum-dweller; he can connect. And most important: He has this huge fire in him to learn stuff. Good luck Sham. DK are you listening?

(Shamdat is an award winning Still Photographer. He just broke into mainstream cinema through Premaya Namaha: a Telugu movie. He has worked as an assistant to Ravi K Chandran. Sham has also shot music videos, corporate AVs, Documentaries. He is currently based in Palghat, Kerala.)
