Green Trivia

Green trivia: It is said that green is the most restful color for the human eye. Some claim that green has great healing power. It can soothe pain. Suicides dropped 34% when London's Blackfriar Bridge was painted green. [Via ColorMatters]

Intensity of the color matters more than the color itself. Spread area of color and background colours (other colours that it is percieved with), color blindness, culture, could also play an important role in defining user perception.
