Pressure Guage Indicators

I was filling air in my bike's tyres when I discovered that the rear tyre's level was 10 instead of 36. The problem is that it is difficult for one to assess if the pressure in the tyres is at the optimal level. If your levels are down, you lose out on mileage, inflict damage to your tyres and tubes, and run the risk of an accident. So, don't you think two-wheelers should have pressure indicators ala fuel indicators? I don't see why not! What do you think? And, what about cars, do they have pressure indicators? I don't think any cars (in the U.S., at least) have pressure indicators yet. I believe there was some research going on after SUV rollovers became a hot item in the news. I haven't heard anything about it recently, however.

David, there are more two-wheelers in India than cars. Car is still a luxury item back here. And, roads are bad. Especially in the countryside they are awful. So, it makes sense for bike/scooter manufacturers to add the pressure indicators and help people avert damage to their rides and to themselves!
